Nesreen T. Elshafei is a UN and Legal Translation and Legal
English Instructor at the American University in Cairo (AUC) –
School of Continuing Education (SCE), Arab Academy for
Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT).
Elshafei is also a legal translator with two decades of
experience in teaching and legal translation. As a strong
believer in the power of positive learning and self-development,
she has successfully helped judges, lawyers and legal translators, in and
outside Egypt, to achieve their training and professional goals. In the meantime,
she is preparing an MA Thesis on The Translation of Court Documents as an Act of
Communication: A Textual, Contrastive Analysis of Arabic-English Court Documents.
